Microcredentials, such as those offered in GROOVE are crucial for CPD training as it offers focussed skill development, allowing professionals to hone in on specific competencies directly relevant to their roles and/or career aspirations. Moreover, their flexibility and accessibility make them highly appealing to busy professionals. Microcredentials also provide tangible evidence of competence through certificates, badges, or digital credentials, validating professionals’ skills and commitment to ongoing learning, empowering professionals to enhance their skills, advance their careers, and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital workplace of VET.
